In the UVION process, this is 7.0, i.e. neutral. With UVION, a pH dosing unit ensures that the water becomes neither acidic nor basic.
When converting a swimming pool from an environmentally harmful water treatment to the UVION process, a pH dosing system may already be in place at your facility.
For the ECO and ECO2 variants, the pH value must be checked regularly by hand, as these instrument types are supplied without a pH dosing system. The ECO+, ECO+2 and ECO+2-130 unit variants are supplied with a pH dosing system which automatically measures the pH value and maintains it at a stable value of 7.0.
